The ultimate guide on how to kick and boot people offline on PS4 and Xbox. A few players or even observers would despise such acts, but we as Gamers, are obsessed on winning, upgrading our weapons, gear, unlocking mesmerizing character cosmetics and skins. 1. Obtain the IP Address of the gamer/player
Think of your IP address, like your home address. It’s unique and you know who lives there. With an IP address the same principles apply, your ISP distributing a public IP address to your router and thus your router assigns local IP addresses to your devices within your home (PC, PS4, Mobile device, XBOX etc).
Because we play games online, every bodies public IP addresses needs to connect to that hosting server (Fortnite server, GTA server etc) Upon connecting on the server we can intercept, scan and retrieve packets which will resolve into IP addresses from fellow players/gamer’s.
Q: How can we obtain IP addresses on PS4 and Xbox
A: Using software called Lanc Remastered. It’s an open source (free) IP puller, sniffer and grabber for PS4 and Xbox. Download it or view our tutorial on how to pull IP’s.
2. Sign up for a Booter service
A Booter is essentially a DOS attack. And a Denial of service is typically accomplished by flooding the targeted machine or resource with superfluous requests in an attempt to overload systems and prevent some or all legitimate requests from being fulfilled
Using our home/house analogy again. Think of a Booter service as having 100 people in a 1 room apartment/flat. With that amount of people you will basically be forced to leave or be pushed around. Either way, both seems to be unpleasant and your router feels the same. The Booter service will send so many packets that it will be forced to reboot or with hold sending any packets throughout your home network. (think of brain freeze)

3. Start kicking and booting people offline
It’s time to win and cause chaos! You have the gamer’s IP address and selected a Booter. Insert the IP address and start launching your attack. Wait 10 seconds and you will be victorious!

How to block booter attacks on PS4/Xbox and Protect myself
As you can see from the above steps on how we boot people offline, the most important information an attacker needed, was your IP address. Blocking such attacks, we only need to fool the gamer/players that want to boot you offline. In doing so, they will boot a wrong IP address and your network won’t be saturated.
